Reduced Battery Disposal Program

Wireless computer keyboards, mice, musical instruments, clocks, radios and a host of other devices are all still reliant on common AA & AAA batteries.

Ridge View Secondary College will be aiming to reduce it’s battery wastage by replacing all, one time use disposable batteries with rechargeable batteries. The school will keep a log of how often the batteries are recharged and estimate the amount of batteries are saved from land fill.
