Good Standing at Ridge View Secondary College
The Good Standing Policy at Ridge View Secondary College supports positive engagement, responsibility and successful participation in college life for all students.
Our Good Standing process provides a clear framework to support students in maintaining satisfactory standards of attendance, punctuality, participation, organisation, and behaviour. It also encourages students to take responsibility for their actions and develop habits and behaviours that will support success in further education, training and employment.
Good Standing is used at Ridge View Secondary College to recognise and encourage students who consistently demonstrate our College Values and contribute positively to the College community.
All students commence each year with Good Standing status. Students maintain their Good Standing by consistently demonstrating the expected values, behaviours and learning expectations within our College community.
At Ridge View Secondary College, there are three Good Standing status levels:
The Good Standing process includes regular review points throughout each term, with communication provided to students and families regarding a student’s current status and any required actions or support.
