Aerobic Composting
Ridge View Secondary College has a vast amount of garden area and several garden beds located around the school. The introduction of aerobic composting tumblers will provide these gardens with an almost unlimited quantity of compost all year round.
All organic waste including lawn clippings, garden trimmings, food scraps from the canteen and home economics classes with no longer be sent to land fill, instead it will now be recycled into compost for use in the school gardens.
